The City of Buenos Aires Police dismantled an organization dedicated to the irregular importation and sale of goods following eight simultaneous raids in the Lanús and Quilmes areas. According to police sources, over 700 packages containing electronics, perfumes, toys, clothing, and tools, along with 31 mobile phones and 6 cars, were seized. The foreign-origin merchandise, primarily electronics and technological devices including over 70 cell phones, was found in private homes, commercial offices, and warehouses in Lanús. Raids also targeted a gated community and an office in a shopping center in Quilmes. Additionally, more than 20 million pesos, 50 thousand US dollars, vehicles, cell phones, computers, electronic devices, and case-related documentation were confiscated.
